How to return
Our Returns Process
"It can take up to 5 working days for us to receive your return from the carrier.

Once the return has been received and processed at our warehouse, we’ll send you an email to confirm your refund has been processed. This can take 2-3 business days after we’ve received the returned item from the carrier.

Your refund may take up to 14 days to show on your account, depending on the method of payment you used."
RETURN YOUR ORDER
Returning Online Purchases
Purchases made on www.timberland.co.uk can only be returned via our online return process. Start your return now.
1) Start Return
If you have an account with us, log into your account and go to your order history to initiate the return process.

If you purchased as a guest, click on the Track My Order link available at the top of any page on our website. Enter your 8 digits Order Number and the email address you used on your order to initiate the return process. Once you are in the Order Details Page click on the 'Create a Return' button.
2) Schedule
To complete the return order, you will need to:

1. Select the item(s) to return.
2. Select the reason for the return.
3. Select the preferred return method.
3) Prepare your Return label or QR/Barcode
Opted for the digital code? On the return confirmation page, click on the 'Download Your Code' button. This will generate the QR/Barcode you need to show in the drop off point. You'll also receive this via email to your chosen email address.

No need to print anything; simply show your confirmation email at your preferred drop off point and they'll print and attach the label to your parcel.
4) Pack
Pack the items you would like to return. We encourage you to reuse the original shipping package and seal securely.

Please make sure all old shipping labels, stickers, and other materials have been removed from the outside of the package or covered up.
5) Give it to the carrier
Drop off the package at the preferred selected location within the opening hours. Please present your downloaded barcode and they will print it and stick it to the parcel

You'll receive a confirmation of this in your inbox along with a tracking number.
6) Receive confirmation
You'll receive an email confirmation as soon as your returned products have been received, accepted, and processed. This might take up to 2-3 business days after we've received your return.

If there's anything wrong with your return (e.g. products not corresponding to your purchase, products returned with a decreased commercial value, etc.), we will inform you via email and we might even return the item back to you.
7) Receive refund
Once your return is inspected and accepted by our quality assurance team, we will release your refund to your original form of payment. The whole process, from when you have printed the return label to when the refund is visible on your account, can take up to 14 days.
Note
If you do not want to follow the procedure described above, you are free to choose your preferred return method. Please keep in mind that, if you make a return using a carrier of your choice, instead of using our free returns option, the cost of returning the goods will be at your expense, you will bear the risk of damage or loss of the goods during a return until the goods reach us and that the return and refund process may take longer.

TIMBERLAND's RETURN POLICY
Right of withdrawal

If you are not satisfied with the Products you received or have simply changed your mind about purchasing them after we have e-mailed you your Order Confirmation, you can return them within 30 (thirty) calendar days of delivery of the Products and get a refund,
This is a right of withdrawal that you can exercise without penalty and without giving any reason.
Please note that while the Products remain in your possession you are responsible for keeping them safe, secure and in good condition.
In case of returns for change of mind (right of withdrawal), you will be fully reimbursed apart from shipping costs for express delivery, if you had chosen this shipping method.
We recognize no right of withdrawal for Products that you have asked us to customize (for example with bespoke colors, materials, monograms) through our DYO functionality available here.
DYO Products can however be returned if they are faulty.


Legal guarantee for faulty goods

In addition to the above, we recognize the statutory 2-year (or the longer period that may be set forth by your local law) guarantee for product faults. A product is "faulty" if received damaged or where a manufacturing or material fault occurs within 2 years (or the longer period that may be set forth by your local law) from the purchase. Please note that Products damaged due to wear and tear are not considered faulty.


Return Online Locate Orders

Locate Orders are orders placed in store for products not physically available in the store’s stock, with delivery either in the same store or to your home address.
Items purchased through Locate can be returned either in a Timberland’s owned and operated store or online. Excludes partner and concession stores. When returning online, please follow the standard online return procedure. Online returns can ONLY be refunded in the form of a digital gift card that are subject to our standard.
If you do not want to be refunded with a digital gift card, please complete the return in the store of purchase.
