We've gone one step further with environmental sustainability, not only turning recycled plastic bottles into footwear, apparel and accessories, but also creating job opportunities and cleaner streets in developing nations; helping to turn trash into cash. Now you can look good and feel good too. PET (polyethylene) is highly recyclable and widely used in packaging, including plastic bottles, but unfortunately ends up littering streets and landfill sites, particularly in developing regions. Timberland and its partners are working with the locals in nations like Haiti to help clean up their streets and give plastic waste a new life in our products, like the Timberland X Thread collection. Since 2018 we've recycled thousands of plastic bottles, proving that style and sustainability can go hand in hand.
